A short film by yours truly.

So yeah, I’m 17.
I normally just get money from my parents and go shopping so I can get what I want, so today we went to the park and let my lil’ bro play with some of his friends for a couple of hours, then we had lunch with three of his friends and their Mom at El Chili Verde, a local Mexican restaurant, so of course the waiters came out to sing happy birthday in Spanish and then in English and put a sombrero on my head.

We then went to the mall and I got a few shirts and a CD, I had to leave pretty quickly to go home and get ready for the movies.

Earlier in the week I had asked several of my friends if they wanted to go to the movies.
But of course this girl had her MONTH LATE birthday party on MY BIRTHDAY. So, after five friends said they were going there, and a couple more were out of town, my friend Jonathan said he could go.
So me and Jonathan saw Paul Blart: Mall Cop. It was really funny, and was pretty good until the middle when it got kinda cheesy, and went down from there. Yet, it was still good. It’s hard to explain I guess.


Now I am sitting in my bed watching Rosie O’Donnell on The Late, Late Show while typing this on my laptop, and feeling reallllllly tired. So G’Night!

Seriously.

So I’m hoping to post a weekly blog of stuff that’s happened that week, with some smaller posts in between that are centered around certain topics.

Welcome to Life of Dakota

Well, not much has happened lately, yet, I have several things to blog about.
So in the next few days you will see new posts about our new van, our new puppies, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, my tree painting, and possibly more.

And if you haven't figured it out by now, the random quotes have noting to do with the actual blog...

So, not much has been going on lately.

Just co-op classes. Chemistry... blech...

I'm taking Guitar, it's fun so far. I think my teacher will give me a simple song to learn next week.

I'm also taking art. I'm working on an oil painting of an oak tree.
The first week, while I was drawing it, Mrs. Lee asked me what kind of tree it was.
"Ummm... I don't know... An oak?" "I want you to work on it this week, and when you get here next week, I want you to tell me what kind it is."

Later that day, I passed her in the hall and she asked if I had decided what kind it was.
"It's a MAGICAL tree!" lol

The painting is comming along good. She is having me paint the sky without using any white, so the sky is a little dark... I'll post a pic later when the sky is %100 finished.
